Mineshaft

Project Description: The concept of this cellar was driven by the fact that the clients are in the excavation business. We created a “mineshaft” cellar for them built completely underground. This is another example of a two- room design, with a large tasting room in the front of the cellar and temperature-controlled bottle storage in the “shaft.” The mural at the back of the cellar suggests that the tunnel continues deep into the hillside. To complete the feeling and ambiance, our clients have placed an old mine cart outside the entrance to their unique cellar.
